One of the things I feel PGI really missed here was the opportunity for the Commanders. Each game you have the ability to get Lance Commanders and Company Commanders. They could have made it so Company Commanders could use the Long Tom as a consumable, and/or Lance Commanders the ability to use Sensor Sweeps, or even a tank/hovercraft attack charges...ah such beautiful potential, unrealized and wasted...

You're missing out on the best Locust. The LCT-1M has exactly 1 ton of armour and a LRM-5 in each arm. It's only redeeming quality is that it's the fastest introtech 'Mech, and it can fire the LRMs backwards as it runs away.
